When it comes to grinding, Mitsubishi Electric's CNCs deliver the shapes, dimensions and textures you want.
The iQ Platform-compatible C80 Series has advanced chopping functions, which continuously raise and lower the chopping axis independently of the program operation. During the grinding operation, chopping produces better surface accuracy than traditional abrasive grains.
We've also expanded our CNC CPU functions, improved usability of display functions, added diagnostics and log functions to make the C80 Series more usable, ezpandable, maintenance friendly and safer. It's now possible to define up to 1,200 sets of variables. These variable sets can be handled as system variables in the machining program. This function is especially useful for a grinder, where you need large numbers of variable sets.
